Sample This es un verdadero tributo a la historia del sampling y el Hip-Hop. Una película que narra la historia oculta del fenómeno del sampleo (tomar una frase y repetirla para crear una nueva melodía), con las anécdotas de productores y músicos como: Grandmaster Caz, Kool Herc, Afrika Bambaataa o Questlove (The Roots) junto los fenómenos políticos/sociales que desencadenan el movimiento, y de los cuales nacen algunos de los discos más influyentes de la historia.
