Danila Tkachenko es un artista visual de Rusia que trabajan en el campo de la fotografía documental. Tkachenko ganó un primer premio World Press Photo por su serie Escape. La serie que mostramos hoy lleva por nombre “Restricted areas“, misma que ganó el Premio Europeo de Editores de Fotografía, donde muestra antiguas bases militares y complejos espaciales abandonados de la ex Unión Soviética, de esos que no aparecen en mapas y que muestran la belleza congelada de un futuro tecnocrático que nunca llegó!
